The Brittany Ashlyn Photography "Beginner's Workshop"!
I can still remember that day on Christmas morning over three years ago when I opened my first REAL Camera. I say real because all of the cameras before weren't real to me. Yes they took pictures, but I wanted MORE. I wanted a DSLR camera that I could create beautiful images with. At the time, I had no clue how to control my camera and create the beautiful images, but I knew that I was going to hustle more than ever to make it happen. I often felt that it MUST be the equipment I am using ,or some special mode that my camera doesn't have. Has this ever been you? The person stuck wanting to take beautiful images with that expensive camera that your parents or husband bought you for Christmas, but just not knowing how.
Maybe your a mom wanting beautiful images to hang on the walls of your children, a college student looking for a side hustle, a business owner not wanting to pay an arm and leg just to get some new pictures on your website, a blogger that wants to have content on your social media post, a traveler / hobbyist and want to document all of the gorgeous places you are visiting, or maybe you really have a passion for photography and want to make a business out of it. I am here to tell you that I have been in your shoes, and walked the same steps you are walking, and I am here to help you learn.
In the last three years I have learned so much about creating beautiful images that not only my clients love ,but I do. The teaching nature in me has been calling to teach others how to get started on their photography journey of creating gorgeous images and understanding that there isn't just a button you can press to make images that you will love. It takes learning, investing in yourself, and understanding your camera.
This summer I will be teaching a Beginner's Workshop in West Monroe,LA. This one day workshop has been created for YOU. I will be teaching you how to create GORGEOUS images using the DSLR camera you already have. You will learn about Lighting, exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and how to control these elements in Manual mode. I will teach simple posing shots ,and we will even practice by photographing nature and models. You will be able to apply this to shooting children, fashion, wildlife, architecture, portrait sessions, and so much more.
If you want in on this workshop and are ready to go from automatic mode to Manual Mode email me and tell me a little bit about yourself and why you want to start shooting in manual mode and create better images. I will send you additional information on the workshop in the next couple of days when I workout all of the details!
