Frequently Asked Questions | Wedding
As most of you know, I am now booking clients for Fall 2018 weddings and Spring 2019! I am so excited because I already have so many amazing new clients that I get to be a part of their BIG Day! I have decided that this weeks blog will over some of the frequently asked questions that I get. Hopefully, this will help you to choose me to photograph your wedding and ease your mind that you will be well taken care of.
What are your prices?
My price range varies from $750 - $2,000 depending on what you are looking for in your photography coverage. Couples spend $1,200 on average for my services. Feel free to contact me to receive a pricing guide.
How many images will I receive?
I typically deliver 75-100 images per hour that I shoot. So for 7 hours worth of coverage you will receive anywhere from 700-1,000 photos!
How quick will I receive my images back?
You will get a sneak peek blog of every session within the week that we take the photos. This blog will be a small write up about the your session and the time we had together. It will also contain 10-15 images from the session, so that you can immediately share with your family and friends.
For portrait sessions (Engagement, Bridals, and Day Afters) you will receive your photos back in 3 weeks or less.
For the wedding day photos you will receive back in 6 weeks or less.
All photos are delivered on an online portfolio called PASS. From this site you can download all of your high resolution images to your phone or computer. You can share to social media for your friends and family to view and download, or you can order prints directly from the gallery.
Do we have to buy prints through you?
No, I do not require clients to purchase prints through my site. Although, I do recommend it for best quality. You will receive you images by a link to the online gallery in your email. In that email will contain a print release so that you can take your photos anywhere to print.
How would you describe your working style?
I am the photographer that captures the day as it unfolds, I am organized and will help you stick to your schedule. I will pose you and family members to help get those unforgettable moments photographed, but also give you time to enjoy your day! I often feel like a wedding planner, because I help to stick to your schedule, and manage your guest with the most respect while getting all of your desired photos in quick !
What type of equipment do you use?
I shoot with Nikon. I am currently photographing with my personal D750 & D7200.
Lenses include 35 mm, 50 mm, 24-70mm and flashes.
Will we get black and white photos?
I use my artistic opinion on which photos to make in black and white and which ones to leave in color. All pictures will be in color, if i include a black and white it will usually be a copy. The only time I will include a black and white without a color is if it is almost the same picture as a colored one, but slightly different pose or face gesture, and/or if the lighting is too dark and grainy to be colored.
Can I give you a list of shots that we want taken?
Yes, I actually encourage this and will give you a template. I think this event guide will help make the day go by so much smoother and will make sure that I am aware of all of the photos that you are looking for. I do not promise that any shot will be taken, but I can promise that I will try my best to get every photo on the list.
Do you have an assistant?
Yes, I will bring an assistant to help me run for batteries, grab equipment, and even second shoot. This helps me to stay organized and get some different angle shots. This assistant is not a second photographer. I can get a second photographer for an additional $100 an hour.
Do you have back up equipment?
Yes, I have back up camera bodies, lenses, batteries, sd cards etc. I understand anything that can go wrong will go wrong and I assure you that I am more than prepared.
How will you be dressed?
I usually dress professional , but I am more than okay with wearing whatever type of attire you want me to wear!
If you want me to wear a long formal gown to blend in with your guest, I will.
If you want me in black pants and black button up, to separate myself from the crowd, I will.
If you do not have a preference, During the summer I wear short black dresses and during the winter I usually wear long black dresses and jackets!
